Concerning your parody. I like the ideas you have but I don't think this follow what a parody is. It looks as if you were replacing a few words with a few other words. This was similar to what I did and Mindi told me that it was not a parody. Remember, a parody is usually mocking something in some sense, and does more than just model it. There's a message (though it may be lighthearted or respectful) behind the parodic choices. Good start though but I would actually double check with Mindi to see if this is could work as a parody. Thats what I did and it helped out a lot.
